About our Program

Created by Melissa Emmons, Kid Ka Doodle’s Toddler Time with you offers children ages 12 months -4 years an introduction to age-appropriate learning through crafts and play with the comfort of a parent, grandparent or special caregiver by their side.

Each session follows a curriculum-based theme ranging from Community Helpers to Dinosaurs and Dr. Seuss. Every class features a structured flow of circle time, story time, a hands-on craft, and activities.

Our classes will start with circle time. Beyond singing songs and learning about our theme, circle time promotes routine, listening skills, communication and participation. We’ll also explore a book that correlates with our theme—not only encouraging your toddler’s imagination, but also fostering cognitive development, creative thinking and a love of books. 

Then comes the best part: making a beautiful mess! Together you and your child will create a masterpiece from what we have learned in circle time and story time. Each class includes a craft that will be fun for your child to make with you, while also bolstering their coordination and fine motor skills using glue, paint or crayons. (Don’t worry, you don’t have to clean up!) 

From communication and socialization to motor skills, Kid Ka Doodle has many positive impacts on a child’s development. And with you by their side, the benefits are endless. Together you will promote a love of early education, form special memories and become part of a unique community.
